Will NT 7 provide backfill data for IB Connections?

I always thought it used the crummy historical data provided by IB, and that it was limited to just minute based charts.

Historical minute and daily from IB is supported with NT6.5. Neither NT6.5 nor NT7 would support historical tick data from IB since IB does not provide that data (only down to 1 second granularity) -> nothing has changed with NT7 since it's an IB limitation.

Ok.. that's what I thought... (although many other charting programs provide vol/tick charts using IB historical data.. I'd be happy with 1 second snapshots)

My question was will the NT7 IB adapter use NT servers for backfill, vs the crummy IB backfill ... like what you do today for Zenfire.

Unfortunately we don''t have such plans as of today.

Can NT7 chart second charts with IB? I believe we can not do this with 6.5.
