    Line (F2) selection when vertical

Any line (F2) drawn can be easily selected (for deletion or movement) with a single click. As long as it is not vertical.

I use small vertical lines in order to measure distances from/to a sliding parallel in conjuction with Andrews pitchfork. For some reason, when a line is vertical, it is sometimes nearly impossible to have it selected. I sometimes try 10-20 times to select it. At times it works after about 10 tries (especially if the line is on the large side 1/3 to 1/2 of the screen). But when the line is small (1 inch or so) I just can not manage to select it no matter how many times I try to click on it, a bit beside it, etc).

The same size line (1 inch) if it is drawn a bit slanted can be selected with one click at all times, no issues.

This is happening on NT6.5 as well. For some reason, I thought this might get fixed on NT7 but the same issue persists.

    I am using Win XP 32 bit with NT6.5 and Windows 7 / 64 bit with NT7B6.

This likely could be a limitation that has been difficult to overcome. In any case, I will forward to development.

Have noticed this too...sometimes not being able to highlight a (short) vertical line to delete or move...however if you expand the horizontal scale maybe 6, 7 or 8 steps or so then you can usually highlight OK by clicking around a bit....it often turns out these hard to highlight lines are actually not quite vertical initially...

If you expand the chart horizontal scale 5-6 steps and place short lines by eyeball accurately vertically then compress chart to max compression you will be able to highlight all of those lines OK then...

A short vertical arrowline is also hard to highlight occasionally also...

Thanks Alfred, I will try to play around a bit with this, hopefully I will get the hang of it.

In regards to the line not been quite vertical, I agree. It's not easy to get it done vertical, especially on a compressed chart. Other tools, have a 'set vertical' option to deal with this.

          Salut Cristian !

The bug you experienced (almost vertical lines were difficult to select) is fixed and the fix will be available with the next update of NinjaTrader.

          Thanks for reporting,
