Spikes again for EURUSD

NT 7.0.0.7: Spikes still appear, when data for EURUSD loaded with historical data manager.

You needed to clear out all data including the cache by manually deleting all (!) subfolders in <my documents>/NinjaTrader7/db.

I had renamed the database before I loaded the data and started with a new DB.

You needed to clear out all data including the cache by manually deleting all (!) subfolders in <my documents>/NinjaTrader7/db.

This does not help as the historical data no longer is saved there. Please proceed exactly as instructed.

Sorry, I was not precise. I had renamed the folder <.. /db> to <../dbold>.
NT7 created a new folder, and I had no data whatsoever in my data base. Also first needed to load instruments not available such as prior contract months of ES.

Here is what I see as I went through EXACT procedure I provided to you to reset your data.

I'm not sure what sense it would make to try something different than I advised you...

Was the data loaded by opening a chart or via the historical data manager?

Problem only occurs, if data is loaded via historical data manager.

Just deleted again the db folder (exact procedure).

Loaded 3 months of data for EURUSD from Interactive Brokers via Historical Data Manager -> Download.

Opened a 30 min chart, lookback 65 days, and lots of spikes again, see screenshot below.

May be you are connected to a different IB server than I am and your server has incorrect data for EURUSD?!?

No spikes with correct settings for pips

Have retried and probably found the error - clearly on my side:

Spikes appear, when -> Tools -> Options -> Data -> Quote currencies (FX) in is set to < Pip >. When reinstalling NT 7 this afternoon, I had forgotten to adjust the settings. For IB I have to set this to <HalfPip> or <TenthPip>, both works .....

Curious: Are you saying that the issue is there with <Pip> but not with <HalfPip> or <TenthPip>?

Hmm ... I just set <Pip> as well and now can reproduce the spikes too. Will look into to understand what's going.
