Installation Issue

When I install NT7, it fails to install new custom code (i.e. MyDocs/NinjaTrader 7/bin/Custom/Type/...). Specifically, I had changed the @BarTypes.cs and @ChartStyles.cs files, and I expected that they would be overwritten when I installed a new version of NT7. Instead, it leaves any modified files in place.

While it is nice, that you don't overwrite my updated files, it makes it kind of hard to get any updates to functionality (i.e. updates to BarTypes), as the only way to get the files is a clean install.

This happened in B5 and now happened in B6. Just realized what was happening.

Believe if you delete your custom files and did a repair installation you would get back the new factory files.

Ok, that's fine. Just not very obvious that I am not seeing any updates.

That's one of reasons why we do not recommend nor provide support for modifying the '@' files
