changing label for ind added by strat

you can change the label for inds and strats that are added manually to a chart

this is a good feature to avoid so much text at the top of the chart....which can interfere with the bars when on autoscale

1. is there a way to change the label of inds added by strat code?...the plot settings are browseable however Label is not an option

2. if no, could 7 use 'Sec' instead of 'Seconds' in default labels to save space?

You could try:

Add(SMA(10));
SMA(10).Name = "\"Hi\"";

Please be sure you rerun your backtest or reapply a fresh copy of your strategy after such a change. Works as expected in Strategy Analyzer here. This is B6.

.Name = ""; <--will remove the label
.Name = "Hi"; <-- will rename the indicator as Hi(ES(1 min)... etc)
.Name = "\"Hi\""; <-- will rename the indicator as Hi and remove all parameter listings afterwards.

I was lazy and did not define in full

Add(SMA(Close,Fast));

SMA(Fast).Name = "\"Hi\""; <<<<<<<<< left out the Close, ....which equates to a different name so could not find it

SMA(Close,Fast).Name = "\"Hi\""; <<<< works perfectly
