    Background color issue

    Hello,

If the chart has coloured areas and the pointer is cross-hair type, the background color is not refreshed when the mouse is moved.

I tried to reproduce that issue here but failed. I suspect it's related to your video card.

Curious: did you experience something similar on NT6.5? Thanks

        Yes, in NT6.5 also occurs.

But it is curious why the candlesticks are not affected.

Customer indicators which override the Plot method and are refreshed when the mouse is moved are not affected.

        Thanks

Sorry, I would not know why CandleSticks are not affected. I'll ask a member of our support team if they could step in. I believe they have some hints in case of video card issues.

            Hello cls71,

Can you please turn down the hardware acceleration of your video card and check if this will make a difference. See the instructions below (Vista)

Please right click on your desktop and select Personalize.

            Select Display Settings

            Click the 'Advanced Settings' button

            Select the Troubleshoot tab

Subsequenty turn down the hardware acceleration.

Start NinjaTrader and check if the issue persist.

Also it might just mean the Video Drivers need to be uninstalled and reinstalled. I've had similar problems when the drivers get a glitch.

                Hello Jason,

I did it, but the issue persists.
My graphic card is a ATI Radeon HD 3300 (built-in) on WinXP-32 and NT7B6.
Probably it is a problem about drivers.

Hmm .. guessing: May be there are updated drivers on the vendor's site.
