freeze on loading wrong instrument vs workspace

I am consistently getting NT to freeze as follows:

1. have workspace open for NQ 12-09 and connect live to NQ 03-10

2. have workspace open for NQ 03-10 and connect MR to NQ 12-09

the charts get stuck in 'loading data...'

if you switch workspace you get exception

at times corrupts workspace/charts

at times it corrupts db and have to Reset DB

What do you mean by connect to NQ 03-10? So you have a workspace with charts as NQ 12-09 and then you connect to Zen?

I am in MR with NQ 12-09 charts...forget to switch to NQ 03-10 workspace before I connect to zen

zen tries to download 03 into charts and freezes

What is your merge policy in Tools>Options?

On latest sources I am unable to get it to pull 03-10 data into a 12-09 chart.

1. ES 12-09 vanilla 1 min chart
2. Connect MR for 12/7 for ES 12-09
3. Play some data
4. Disconnect MR, connect Zen
5. Chart loads ES 12-09 to 12/17. No loading of ES 03-10 ever occurred
