Adding text in chart when set to snap OHLC

I have a question concerning when we add text in a chart when we have the bar snap set to HLC, in V6.5 we could add text anywhere on the chart and the snap to OHLC was not affecting the text function but in N7 B5 when you try to add text on a chart the first one will be ok but let's say you want to paste it and move it somewhere else in the same chart the snap function will interfere and I will only be able to place this on highs or lows of bars so I know that by removing the snap function I will be able to place them anywhere I want but this will imply lots of clicks as I am used to thjat function for Fib retracements or extensions.

So is this normal behavior in N7 when we have the snap function set at HLC.

It is expected behavior as snap mode would impact all draw objects.

Okay, why isn't it the same with 6.5 as I can drag my text anywhere I want even if I am in snap mode, I guess something has been changed in V7 as I will have to do a lot of clicks to move my text where I want now compare to before.

The current 7 behavior is the correct behavior. Unfortunately in 6.5, having text not respond to snap mode is actually inconsistent bugged behavior. You could try just snap to bars if you want to change it. Alternatively you can setup hotkeys for the different snap modes so you can quickly switch between them.

OK, Thanks. I will look at Hot Keys as I never used them before.
