Visual Studio 2008 - Debugging

I just wanted to know if anyone else is having issues when debugging with VS 2008 & NT7.

Seems you can't set breakpoints without a freeze up followed by a crash.

It will let you step through a few times, but any amount of even non-serious debugging, forget it.

Similar problem here - in my case it (NT7 not VS) usually crashes after the strategy requests some values from the indicator - but it may be just coincidence.

Anyway - it is not possible to debug anything with VS 2008 at the moment

I have been able to debug custom bar types with VS2008 + NT7. What you're describing does happen, but it comes back after if you wait about 20 seconds or so.

I believe we are talking about different problems - my NT 7 simply crashes / closes down while debugging so there is no way of coming back after 20 sec

I was told that VS 2005 is more stable. Can anyone confirm this?

I have been using VS2005 with no problems.. Stepping thru code is a breeze. But I do see four ".NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting" errors in application event viewer.. I hope this is not related.
