Metastock Import and Symbols starting with "."

When importing Metastock Files with symbols starting with . (for instance .GDAXI) I get the errror message "Unable to import data for Metastock symbol '.GDAXI': Instrument is not supported by repositary."

But the instrument '.GDAXI' is defined and was accepted when imported as part of a symbol list.

I could not see any issue. I added the GDAXI index and the FMEG.DE stock both to instrument manager and the import went fine.

As the instrument name in Metastock is .GDAXI I added an instrument with the name .GDAXI and not GDAXI

It works with GDAXI (on the selection window ^GDAXI is listed) and does not work with .GDAXI

AFAIK, .GDAXI would denote an index in MetaStock. Thus it would be an index called "GDAXI" and not ".GDAXI" in NT.
