    Exception: SuperDom

I had 5-6 crashes today at irregular times even when I was away from the desk. My workspace is simple: a couple of charts with boxes and two safe indicators, and a dom.

      astra,

What market was this, where are you getting market data from, could you also post an image of your SuperDOM properties that you were using on this DOM.

      Thx

        Ray,

Instrument is YM, data from PATS. It happened again just now when I was setting the SuperDom properties for preparing the screenprint for you. When I pressed the Apply in the image below I received the warning.

Did you have any orders working in the DOM when this occured?

Also, if you can reproduce this, an image of the DOM itself might be useful. Thx.

No. It happens radomly. Either few minutes after I open the workspace with the dom, or after few hours.

Today happened twice. The first immediately when I pressed the Apply for the post 4 image. The second time (after I rebooted) after 15 minutes. Now, it is quite with all my workspaces but without a dom!

I'll open the dom now and I'll check how long will take the crash and I'll report back. Use the settings as per post 5 (not 4) as these are my default settings.

Just now I noticed that when I opened the dom opens to NT settings. Hmm! didn't opened with my default settings (perhaps another issue). No crash so far with NT settings. I'll place my default settings again and report back.

Can you send me your workspace files? Via Help > Mail To Support, include in subject "For Ray" and reference this post?

                        Ray,
Workspaces sent. No crash for 40 minutes now. (Leaving the desk now - I'll be back in 2 hours).

In the meantime another issue that I hope is reproducable.

As per my post 9 below I can now confirm that if you change some settings in the Dom and Set them Default you have your default settings for the current session only. When you exit NT and open it again (close any existing Doms) the new Dom is with the factory settings (your default setting are gone).
