    NT 7B5 and Global lines

I had a chart of a stock set up with a daily, 3 day and a weekly chart set up. I drew a supporting trend line on the weekly chart and it showed up promptly on the 3 day. However, nothing showed up on the daily chart.

I thought it may have been a problem with scaling, so I rescaled the daily chart to make sure that the range where I drew the trend line was showing on the daily chart and it still did not show up.

However, I scrolled the data back a couple bars and it finally showed up. But when it showed up, it was a horizontal line. I tried to select the line and NT promptly threw an exception. Not quite sure what it could be, but I'm wondering if you don't load enough data on the daily charts, would it mess up the lines? I have the 3 day and the weekly charts set to a 200 BAR lookback, whereas the daily is only on a 365 DAY lookback.

      Hi mazachan !

When using global chart objects, we recommend using them on charts where the bar time range cover the anchor points. Otherwise you potentially see some strange behaviour/slope could be off, etc.

Though the lines getting horizontal is a bug which will be fixed with the next update of NinjaTrader.

Could not reproduce the exception. Were these chart 'equidistant bars' or 'non-equidistant bars' or some the first, some the second ?

      Could you please send me:
      - your trace files with the exception in ?

send to support AT ninjatrader DOT com, and add 'for Christian' in the subject.

      Thanks,
      Christian

Hi Christian, I tried sending a support mail via ninjatrader but the mail server seems to be down. But I believe this is the exception that I was getting. Also, what did you mean by "equidistant bars"?
