Why I did not have any chart trader options on the right click is because a drawing object was selected. I understand the need to select drawing objects and context sensative menues...but...if chart trader is open I should have the chart trader buy/sell limit/stop limit orders available wherever I right click... Right clicking in a CLEAR SPACE on the charts AWAY from my indicators simply showed my my indicator context sensative right click menu...my brain had to pause and reset ... then I had to left click on a blank portion of the screen to select the chart itself ...then right click to get the chart trader buy and sell menu.
This seems pretty simple but when you need to enter a trade ...you do not want to first identify If an object is selected ...or if the chart is selected, especially when you are in a time crunch.
I do not know the resolution for this but unfortunately by the time I realized why I could not enter an order on a right click ..my opportunity to get on the trade was gone.... 13 points that will not be realized because of the chart object selection and my brains failure to realize the why of it at the time.
Also... Having an object selected messes with the ability to SCALE and MOVE charts. ..Select a drawing object then try clicking and dragging on the BOTTOM or RIGHT edge .... The left click in this area is ignored...causing me to have to FIRST select the chart background then use left click in the right or bottom scale zone to attempt to move/scale the chart... I would assume that left clicking in the right or bottom would de-select the chart object and select the chart background..it does not.
I had suggested earlier that some sort of button up on the menus was available to enable / disable object selection mode. I would again like to mention this possibility... After drawing an object ... ninja stays in drawing object select mode for 20 or 30 seconds then reverts to "default" chart selected mode... Clicking the "select Objects button would toggle the ability to enter this mode on demand ... after x seconds ..the chart times out and reverts to "default" which is no object selected.
Our goal is to trade. When the existance of objects on charts and how they are managed when we are trying to trade, interfere with our trading...then the negatives outweigh the benefits..
Thanks
Mark
