    Data Box Text Colors

I expect this is a known issue, but I can't find any reference to it. Or, perhaps I just don't know how to make appropriate adjustments.

Using the SampleMultiColoredPlot as an example:

In the MiniData Box the text color is as defined by the plot color in Indicator Properties (SkyBlue by default) and does not change when plot color is changed programatically. If plot color is Black, then I can't read the value as the Mini Data Box background is black.

In the Data Box, the plot values can always be read clearly, but the plot name text color is either black or white and selected within NT (indicator default color results in black text). The cell background color changes as the plot color changes programatically, and this can also result in combinations that make reading the text difficult or impossible (when plot color changes to Black then the text cannot be read).

In the Mini Data Box I would like to be able to select an appropriate color for background, or just make all the text white.
In the Data Box, the plot name text color needs to be changed dynamically to always be a good contrast against the cell background color.

    MJT,

Thanks for writing this up. We will look into it.

For the first black on black issue, you should not set a plot color to be the same as the background color. It will not show in that scenario.

This is the Mini Data Box background color, which apears to be fixed as black, so a black plot could never be used on any chart. I also have difficulty seeing some Blues against a black background.
An additional suggestion is to make the MiniData Box background the same color as the chart background, then if it can be seen on the chart it will be seen in the Box.

        MJT,

The visibility will be the same as the plot itself. If you choose a blue that's hard to see on black the text will also be hard in the mini data box.

Would not know why you would ever want to set a plot to black if the background color is already black since you would never see the plot.

There will be some changes in the next version for better visibility in some of the scenarios you have brought up.

          Josh,
I think I'm not explaining my issue clearly enough. My chart background is not black, and I see the Black plots just fine. However, I cannot see the info in the Mini Data Box.
Anyway, if there are some changes coming, then I'll wait to see how it is then.
          thanks,
