    Hi,
I know to paint candlestick bars I have to use ( BarColor = Color.Yellow; )
but can't figure out the codes to paint candle wick colors.
    Can you help?

        WickColor for NinjaScript?

I also had an indicator for NT 6.5. where I used colored wicks (as part of the CandleOutlineColor) to mark candlesticks. I would appreciate, if NinjaScript had a property to override the wick color selected via the Data Series panel. Agree that this is a detail and not top priority.

I have many candle color indicators which need the wicks colored the same as the outline too.

The next beta update will color the wick from the candle outline color programattically like in 6.5.

i made certain bars transparent. now is there any way by which i can remove the blank space. dont think i can do it through session manager as i am excluding data for couple of days/weeks/or more.

btw, a transparent bar has its own usefulness so cant relinquish that thing too. anything optional on cards?

                    bukkan,

Setting color to transparent does not make the bars disappear. They are still there, just transparent so you cannot just remove that space.

If you don't want to see those dates what you would have to do is go into your Historical Data Manager and exclude those days from the records.

thanks Josh, ya i am aware of the same and as i wrote it has its own usefulness.

i dont want to access the Historical Data Manager. some feature additions in lines of the session manager would be great.

                        bukkan,

Thank you for the suggestion. At this point in time you will have to do it from the HDM.

                            Wick Color

Based on what I read earlier in this thread, Wick color sould match CandleOutlineColor in the latest Beta, but it doesn't seem to be working. Has this change been made yet? Thanks.

                              Hello BradB,

In NinjaTrader 7.0.0.15 beta, the wick color will be the same as the candle outline color if you set CandleOutlineColor via NinjaScript code.

You can have different settings for 'Candle outline' and 'Wick' in the Data Series menu upon creating a new chart.

If this is not working for you, could you please clarify what you have done so far.
