    Error Message when Applying Template

I saved a template which included 3 EMAs. When I tried to apply this new template to another chart I got the attached error messages. The messages were stacked but I've shown them seperated so that you can see what they say.

I have also attached a screen shot of the chart (after the errors) to which I was trying to load the template.

If I close the message windows and then move the mouse back over the chart (without clicking), the errors fire again. Also, NT will now not close unless I kill via task manager.

    Regards,
    FatCanary

Is this reproducible? If so, could you please attach your template?

      Not sure what's happening now.
I had to re-create the template as it didn't save. I applied it to another chart with no problems but then I tried to load another (basic - no indicators) template and got the attached errors. The chart is also now showing as attached image in previous post.

Let me know which of the 2 templates you would like me to attach.

Any template which would show unexpected behavior. Thanks

Stupid question - how do I attach the template files? I'm being told the file type (xml) is invalid.

          Thanks.

Please zip them, and then you can attach. Thanks

              Hi Mike X,

Unfortunately our forum experienced technical difficulties early this morning. As a result, we were forced to restore our forum to its last back up point approximately seven (7) hours ago. Any posts created since that time have been lost. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I have your original question here below and one of my coworkers will respond to it again shortly.

is there a current indicator in Ninja that plots an MA pips away from an MA.
EX: EMA20 is at 1.5320, i want an ma that plots 20 pips away from 1.5320 so 1.5340. . is there something like this?
I have seen something like this in metatrader's.

Not sure if you'll answer this but...
                ... I don't have a zipping application, any recommendations?

                Thanks.

As you have windows on your machine you can zip by right click on file->Send to->Compressed (zipped) folder

OK, much embarassment, I didn't know (after all these years working with Windows) that I could do that!

I've attached the only 2 templates that I've created.

                    Many thanks.

It looks as though I may only be getting this issue if the chart to which I'm trying to load a template already has another indicator (in this case ADX) in a seperate panel.

                      Regards,
