if the DynamicSuperDOM able in NT7 at no charge?

there used to be a surcharge in 6.5

Sorry, I don't understand your question. But nothing will change in regards to NT7 SuperDOM licensing

roughly 3 years ago when the Dynamic DOM was introduced it required a surcharge be paid to, I believe, a company that wrote the software

I never used it but seem to recall if you tried to use it and were not set up to pay the surcharge, it would not work

bottom line:
1. is there any additional cost to execute trades via the Dynamic DOM over the Statis DOM?
2. if yes, is this done at broker level or NinjaTrader level or other?

The DynamicSuperDOM is written by NT and not any 3rd party. As explained the same licensing model will apply with NT7 as with NT6.5.

You may be referring to the StaticSuperDOM which is subject of TT licensing fees: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...on_credits.htm

But again: this is the same as with NT6.5

1. I have a life license and use Zen-Fire (assuming TT is a feed)...so I assume there is no static dom charge applicable?

2. I prefer dynamic dom anyway.....why is there a charge for static...i.e. it is more manual

for the last 3 years I have been using Charttrader and Atmstrategycreate to place trades....just starting using dom now....hence my lack of knowledge as to prior/current policy...all I vaguely remember is that one of the DOMs would not work without surcharge

TT Fees for SuperDOM

The NinjaTrader static SuperDOM is offered under license from Trading Technologies and in most cases results in a $0.10 per side per trade transaction fee. All Zen-Fire and TT licenses come standard as a static SuperDOM enabled and all Zen-Fire and TT based broker absorb this fee on behalf of their clients.

If for any reason you would like your license set to a dynamic SuperDOM instead of a static SuperDOM, just email "salesatninjatraderdotcom" using standard formatting and the change can be made for you.
