    No more real time update

    Hi all


    This morning I am getting a very weird bug on my NT7.
    I am able to connect to my real time data AMP-ZenFire and I see the price running live on my Control center but the charts are not updating anymore !!

    I have nothing on my log file but had an exception thrown earlier when I tried to add data to a data chart with strategies applied to it.

    I am uploading only the part of the trace file that seems to be related to this exception..

    What kind of chart are you using? Any custom indicators? Equidistant charts? Multi-series?

      I have a chart with custom indicators on it. These indicators have been working well without any bug for quite some time.

      Now what I just tried is to create a brand new chart and adding the indicators one by one. Seems to be working this way ! Seems that I will have to rebuild a new workspace. Doesn't work with the old workspace...


      Will come back later if I find some bugs

        I just rebuided my workspace from scratch and seems to be working well now..

        By the way very often I get error messages when I open the workspace in the morning with strategies on the chart (didn't remove them at the end of the preceding day) . Something to do with the XML file ...

        Will get the full message next time...

          Not out of the woods yet...

          Everything was all right until I used the Reload Ninja script option because I wanted to change a parameter on an indicator. Same problem .. blank chart not updating anymore...

            Are you able to reproduce consistently? Can you reproduce without custom indicators and only system indicators? Thank you.

              I've been working on that problem all day.

              My findings :

              1) Only a subset of my custom indicators seems to have a problem

              2) System indicators seems to work well

              3) When the problem arises the CPU Usage on Windows Task Manager falls to 0 and NT7 is frozen. No error messages , no log info, nothing on the nature of the problem...which is not of great help to solve the problem !

                Just to make sure that the problem would not come from these lines of code that have been implemented in the Initialize() method :

                display_mode = NT7Assistant().Display_Mode;
                display_type = NT7Assistant().Display_Type;
                assistantAlert = NT7Assistant().AssistantAlert;
                sAlertSnd = NT7Assistant().AlertSound;


                these variables are beeing assigned from another indicator.


                P.S Since erasing these lines NT7 is not crashing for now..
