    Horizontal ray lines

I have attached an indicator which draws vertical lines and horizontal rays for predefined times starting at 11:00 am on Sept/8/2009 to the present time. The indicator can be best viewed on a 30 min chart with data going back to Sept/2009.
The issue I have found with beta 4 is that if the chart is zoomed in then the rays from previous bar that are no longer visible on the zoomed chart are not present either eventhough the price axis provides the designated price for the values of the rays. Anotherwords if the High of the bar stamped for 11:00am on Oct/5/2009 for ES is 1021.75 and the chart is zoomed in so that the value of 1021.75 is still visible on the price axis (but the defined time is not visible on the time axis) THEN the designated ray for that bar doesn't show up on the chart. But as I zoom out and more bars become visible then the rays for those bars start to appear on the chart.
You can try this yourself by trying the attached indicator on an ES chart and notice that as you zoom in and out the ray lines disappear.
THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH NT 6.5 , can you tell me what adjustments are needed to take care of this issue?

It seems the issue I had raised with beta 4 is not fixed in beta 5.
Would you please bring it to your staff's attention?
I have attached 3 files to demonstrate the problem.
If you run the indicator attached (which draws vertical and horizontal rays ) as shown in pic-1 you'll notice there are two lines going back to 11/23/09 and are shown by the red arrows.
In pic-2 the chart is zoomed in a little bit and as you can see the lines have disappeared.
In the actual indicator which contains many lines drawn from certain pivots dating days or weeks back , many lines simply aren't visible on the chart while there is sufficient data available to run the indicator.
Would you please try to address this problem?

            yellowTrader,

I have tried zooming in and zooming out with your indicator several times and was unable to get the horizontal rays to disappear.

Please provide more information on what your chart setup is. What kind of chart is that? Equidistant? Non-equidistant? Etc. Thanks.

I have reproduced it again and again.
Please try it with a 30 min chart of ES going back 200 days.
Then as pic-5 shows try to zoom out so that the last bar on the left of the chart is the bar stamped 18:30 on 12/6/2009.
pic-3 and pic-4 shows more info you asked for.

yellowTrader, just like Josh, I have been unable to reproduce this after repeated zooming in and out. The rays stay put.

I looked at the code for the indicator and there are supposed to be just 4 vertical lines and 4 rays, which is exactly what shows up on the chart.

Can you list the exact (!) steps you take that result in the rays disappearing?

Thank you for your time and patience with resolving this issue.

I just changed the session template to Default 24/7 and tried it and couldn't reproduce it. but when I try it with my custom 24/7 template I can reproduce it every single time.
Where can I find the session template files so I can email them to you? Are they in the Bin folder?
In the mean time I looked at my custom 24/7 and couldn't find anything unusual with the defined times.
It simply has the following sessions:

                  Sun 5:30pm to Mon 5:30pm
                  Mon 5:30pm to Tues 5:30pm
                  Tues 5:30pm to Wed 5:30pm
                  Wed 5:30pm to Thurs 5:30pm
                  Thurs 5:30pm to Fri 5:30pm

Please try the indicator with the above time sessions on a 30 min chart and zoom in so that the last bar visible on the left of the chart is 18:30 on Dec/6/2009 then you'll see the rays originating from 11/23/09 will disappear.
This issue is more pronounced in the actual indicator which has many pivot rays/lines dating back many weeks and months .

Which timezone is that session template associated to?

                        yellowTrader,

Unfortunately I am still unable to reproduce. I suggest you try a 100% clean reinstall of NT7 with the removal of Documents\NinjaTrader 7 directory after uninstall.

By the way I just reproduced it with the NT's Default 24/5 session template as well.

I did a clean reinstalled on my first computer yesterday when I thought not loading Dec ES was due to my system.
I also reproduced it a few minutes ago with my SECOND computer using both NT's Default 24/5 and also my own custom templates.
Please remember you have to use 30 min charts and also you have to zoom in so that bars prior to dec/6/09 are not visible.

                              yellowTrader,

I am just not sure what you are doing that is different on my end. I have tried on two computers and also had a colleague try on theirs too.

Attached screenshot shows it working as expected on ES 12-09 because I do not have ES ##-## data. First visible bar is well into 12/7, past 12/6. Done with your exact session template.
