Will we have access to the SQL database?

Sorry for the easy question, I'm not on the beta as I didn't think it would co-exist with v6.5.

I noticed that you are swapping from Jet to SQL. This has huge potential.
Q1. Are you storing all the data as UTCDataTme? It the data doesn't change as we move timezones & daylight savings this could make it so much easier.
OR are you streaming tick data, compressing it & saving as a blob. Giving ~97% space saving & way faster IO.

Q2. Is the database locked down or will we have the ability to query the tick data independently. Using SQL's Queues, Triggers, Views & tables may permit us to create some exceptionally powerful indicators.

I realise this would be unsupported.

Correct.

- replay data is UTC timestamped
- historical chart data is timestamped by local timezone

7 takes a lot longer than 6.5 to reset accounts, including clearing history

I assume this is due to the change to SQL db?

SQL slower than Jet?

I doubt it/ hope not. A well designed SQL system is way faster than Jet.

According our tests Jet engine has been way faster than SQL CE is. However, we improved the code on the time critical handling of realtime orders/executions, so NT7 should be faster in that regard than NT6.5. We left some non-ciritical code (like sim account reset) unchanged, that why it's slower in NT7 than NT6.5.
