Na, that's fine. Would be great if you marked it accordingly. Thanks for your contribution.
Not if I understood the problem with a spread does not do well on NT7
      graph of an indicator.

      What is the solution?

1 .- Do not want to see the graphs of two or more products spread: only

      the final result.

The spread should not be implemented by NT7 as an indicator, but as a

product: the components are selected in "Data Series" and the chart
and the resultant spread. So then you can apply a indicaror.

2 .- Now, with the indicator gives Kdoren (thanks), if I have to add a

second indicator, NT /, it fails.
Kdoren proposes an alternative: in "Imput Series" of the indicator that I

will put the entry must be because of the two products of the spread.

        852852,

Spreading charting is not supported by NinjaTrader. Trying to do so has to be done through an indicator.

Would you consider upgrading your indicator to draw bars / candlesticks? You can get the example from Gomi CVD bars or as suggested here : http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ad.php?t=27640

P.S. I tried to apply other indicators on the Spread indicator and it doesnt work.. whatever the 2nd data series I set it still uses the 1st and the spread is always 0, so the indicator on the spread is always 0 too...

I just tested it on NT7B12 as the input series to SMA, EMA, Bollinger, Stochastics, and DM with no problems. Which indicators are you using?

My indicators produce only one output ("Close"), so I wouldn't expect them to work as input to any indicator which expects to see "Open", "High", or "Low". I'm not sure how NT7 handles that.

I haven't really looked into creating bars or candlesticks, I'll look at the Gomi example when I get a chance.

When using Spread as an input to another indicator, you do need to set the "Symbol2" parameter, I don't think it will work if you leave it blank to let it default to the second chart instrument, because there is no second chart instrument when running inside another indicator.

In the past I have seen repaint problems where NT7 won't display an indicator-on-indicator properly until you hit the "apply" button a few times, but I believe that to be an NT7 problem.

My Spread and Ratio indicators normally produce output starting with the first bar. However, my Correlation and Beta indicators only produce output after they have received "Period" input bars. There is a design flaw in NT7 which causes the "Close" of the primary chart instrument to be used as the output value for any bars which don't produce ouput. This means that if you use Correlation as the input to another indicator, you will get bad output at the beginning of the chart, until Correlation sees enough bars to produce good output, and then the following indicator sees enough good output from Correlation to produce good output.

aha... If you do it from scratch it works... in my case I added the bollinger and the spread without typing 2nd instrument and exited the dialog... got all zeroes... when I tried typed the 2nd instrument but it kept show me spread between 1st and 1st although 2nd was different....

but if you type the 2nd instrument in the beginning it works fine..

Add 3rd Leg to the Spread Indicator?

Hi kdoren! Thanks for the indicator, I trade future spreads and am trying to figure out a way to make your indicator work for three data series, but have not yet. Can you add a third?

                    Thanks!

Someone else asked for a 3-instrument indicator awhile back, so I posted a prototype 3-instrument Spread indicator. It's attached to message #27 of the following thread:

                      http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ad.php?t=24358

You may need to make changes to adapt it to your needs, or let me know if it's something simple and generally useful and I might be able to do it and post it.

Added support for rapidly changing charts for forex and indexes

Sorry, I couldn't find any information about the meaning of: "Added support for rapidly changing charts for forex and indexes", which I found in NT/ release notes.
                        Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean, but here's a copy of my Spread3 indicator (same file posted in the thread I mentioned before), I think it might do what you want...

                            Sorry, I confused the thread.
                            Thanks anyhow.

With this, and all multi-instrument indicators, currently you must add the secondary data series to the chart before applying the indicator. There are currently bugs in NT7 which will cause problems if an indicator refers to instrument data series which are not displayed on the chart.

The indicator's "Symbol2" parameter defaults to the secondary instrument displayed on the chart, so you don't need to enter the symbol again.
