Anyway, looks like it is fixed in 5. Still some other bugs in the MR, but I am trying to narrow them before reporting. Not sure where the problem lies, my code or NT.

Keep up the great work guys. Nice improvements. Even though I don't use many of them, I still have to give credit where it's due.

NT definitely moved up the ladder this year. Granted I have been active on the forums for about as long, but that is strictly a coincidence, lol!

I think I may have spoken too soon unfortunately.

Market Replay is still doing the same thing as outlined in this thread, just less often.

I found that I have to reset the market replay account before grabbing the slider and rewinding the MR.

Based on early posts, and my own findings, it would seem that this could be the issue.

In 6.5, when you slide the bar on MR backward or forward, it essentially reset the results, open orders, etc. of any working strategies and "rebooted/restarted" them.

So this piece is missing in 7. In other words, we know that you can't rewind the market replay while a strategy is up, unless you first go and reset the market replay account under options, tools, simulator.

Obviously we don't want to reset the whole account, rather whatever was stored from the start of the strategy until the rewind/forward of the MR tape/slider.

The foreign key error is the tell i think. It is trying to write a record and there is a key conflict, so that needs to be deleted before we can write to it after a rewind/forward, or rather a "restart" of the strategy (which is caused by the moving of the MR rewind/forwarding of the tape).
