Reproducable Error - Multiple Data Series

Tested with a Clean Chart. No Indicators.

    Open New Chart
Select ZS 01-10 30 minute data series
    Click Ok

    Edit Data Series.
Add ZS 01-10 5 Minute Data series.
    Click Ok

Overlay the 5 minute Data Series over the 60 minute by draging onto the same panel.

    Open Data Series.
Change Session FOR BOTH data series from instrument Default to
    DEFAULT 24/7.

    Click Ok

    Ninja Trader Needs to close.

Sometimes Ninja will open again without an error.
Sometimes you need to edit the workspace XML file's to remove the chart series in order for it to open.

      Hi mjc4118 !

Can you please send me your trace files ?

NinjaTrader -> Help -> Mail to support -> add christian DOT huebner AT ninjatrader DOT com, make sure 'Log and Trace files' is checked.

Do you have one of the following on chart ?
      - drawing object attached to instrument ZS ? Does this issue persist, after you right click on chart and select drawing tools -> remove drawing objects and remove all drawing objects ?
      - do you have executions on this instrument ?

      Thanks and kind regards,
      Christian

This actually is not an issue of our STMP server: it works as expected here. It's rather an issue of your ISP which might "limit/restrict" the SMPT access.

          Anyway, please:
          - either configure an STMP server of your liking (Tools->Options->Misc) OR
          - just send the zipped content of the folder <my documents>/NinjaTrader7/trace to "support AT ninjatrader DOT com", subject "for Christian" and reference this thread.

          Thanks

            Hi mjc4118 !

Thanks for sending the trace files !

Attaching draw objects to instrument (making it 'global' in draw objects properties dialog) on multiseries charts with several bar series with identical instrument on same chart unfortunately had a bug.

It is correct that you used these feature with the setup described above, when/before the problems occured ? Note: if global draw objects are attached to instrument, they can be on chart, even when you don't see them. Though you can 'see' them in the right -> click 'remove drawing objects'-dialog on chart.

This bug described above is fixed and the fix will be available with the next update of NinjaTrader.

            Kind regards,
            Christian

              Christian.

It is probable that I had Global objects on another chart for the same instrument!.
