NT7 repeated frequent error messages - unhandled thread exception ?

The "Error-NinjaTrader has detected a problem" dialog box is appearing every few seconds. When I dismiss it NT7 just keeps on working but the box soon appears again.

The trace file shows there are repeated unhandled thread exceptions:

"Index [of an Array List] was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection."


This seems to be related to MarketDataEvents in the Buy Sell Volume Total real time bid ask volume indicator.

I also have some momentum indicators that use real time bid ask volume indicators (cumulative delta) as their input series.

I am also using some Jurik indicators that were producing exceptions earlier today, but those errors are not showing up in the trace file anymore.

Please let me know if it would be helpful for me to email trace and log files, workspace templates, zip installers for indicators I am using, etc. Thanks.

We can only offer support on NinjaTrader system indicators. The other custom indicators will need to be addressed by the original author of those scripts to make them NT7 compatible.

Are you using a system indicator? If so, please try with only that indicator and let us know exactly which one you are using. Thank you.

Crashing fixed. When is B5 coming?

The problem of repeated error warnings went away after I ceased using an indicator that I had modified. Therefore it was being caused by defective code. Since then NT7B4 is running very well, with many real time bid ask indicators, about 15 charts, and most indicators set to calculate on bar close = false.

I had been using AVG antivirus and had seen a post saying it was causing problems, so deleted it before getting rid of my bad code. Will reinstall it and let you know if it does start causing any problems.

Nevertheless the error dialog should not be popping up when it is reporting errors that do not really require the application to close. And since it is modal, and sometimes reappears instantly, the error box makes it impossible even to shut down NT from the program because there is not enough time to shift the focus to the Control Center! (Then must use Task Manager)

Any idea when B5 will be available. Eagerly awaiting a working implementation of new multii color plot handling ability. Thanks.
