- NT open
- TWS open/login
- enter order to NT
- go to Preferences, uncheck "Order Confirmation" box
- click on OK
- error message pop uped

Everytime I press OK in the Preferences, the error message appears.

Please try this: I suppose you have a virus scanner active. Please turn it off since it might have the file in access which NT wanted to write to.

You were right. Problem was caused by the Antivirus residential shield. I am using AVG Antivirus and after deactivation of the shield the issue has been solved.

Is there any chance to have NT7 compatible with that Antivirus SW?

Well, the problem is that there is little NT could do as the virus checker has locked the file and you wanted NT to write to that file. You could try excluding the <my documents>/NinjaTrader7 folder from the scanner or make sure it only would be scanned as you are not running NT.

I added mentioned path to the exceptions of the antivirus shield and NT works without problems
