    Suggestion: Crosshair permanently on option

    Hi I think this is probably a bug too, but when I put the crosshair option ON for all 5 of my charts, then save as a template/workspace, it does not always remember when I reboot NT 7 (beta4).
    That is,sometimes when I reopen NT it will perhaps have no charts with the crosshair on, sometimes 3 out of the 5 charts it is on. I save everything but it makes no difference.

    If this should work can someone please add it to the bug list. If not, can I suggest that a seperate tickbox be added under Tools/Options to allow the user to permanerntly have the crosshair on, rather than have to add this each time NT is opened?

    It is expected that the crosshair be recovered. We will look into this.

      I could not reproduce. Any further information would be helpful, next time you see this, what type of charts were use when the crosshair was not recovered. Regular crosshair or global crosshair?

        I have the same issue, regular cross hair doesn't load with any time based charts.

          Be great if you try a simple test.

          Start NT, close all workspaces except for one. Close all windows. Open one chart, enable Global Crosshair, close NT and save workspace, restart. Is the crosshair recovered?

            Hi Ray, the test you asked us to complete works fine-i first tried 1 chart, then added another -I closed down and rebooted a couple of times and that works ok. Great.

            I now loaded up my charts/workspace which has 4 charts (minute based) and a market analyser and tried the same thing as you suggested-ie close all other workspaces and save my one after setting up the regular crosshair on each chart. Unfortunately this time only 3 out of the 4 charts have the regular crosshair loaded when I open NT again. For some reason it's always the same chart (39min). The other 3 charts are 78min, 26min and 10min and they seem fine. The charts just have a few moving averages and a keltner channel on them.
            Any suggestions?

              Thanks for running through that test. Here is the next step -

              - Please move all your workspace windows onto a single monitor
              - Shut down and Save all workspaces
              - Restart, then select Mail To Support, send me all data (check all the boxes), make it attention to Ray and include a reference to this thread

                    Hi Ray, I second a 2nd email 20 mins ago but neither the first nor second one have been copied to my email account ,nor have I had any confirmation from Ninjatrader with a support number. Somehow, its just not getting thru. Any other suggestions?

                      Try sending to ninjatrader [at) ninjatrader com, see if that makes it through, let me know once done.

                        Hi Ray,yes the other email address worked. It sent me an acknowledgment email but it just contains my password , no customer support number.

                            To clarify, these workspaces were migrated from 6.5 or freshly made from 7? I am referring to the one named test121109 workspace. Thank you.

                              Hi Josh, one indicator (the orange line) was migrated across from 6.5 and the rest from memory were made fresh in 7. I followed the instructions for migrating indicators and workspaces across with no problems. Thinking about it, I think the background properties for charts were also migrated. I just followed your instructions to the letter,
