    Problem loading realtime charts/Market Analyser

    Hi,
I have NT veta 4 with IQfeed 4.6.
During this morning US market, I have been using 4 charts (96min/48min/24min/10min) linked to a market analyser panel to watch a couple of hundred US stocks on those 4 timeframes.

I have the following error message from NT saying:
" Error on loading chart data for "AGN Default":E,Could not connect to history socket"

AGN is one of the stocks I'm monitoring through the market analyser panel. It does follow up with other stock symbols imbedded in the same error message. AGN is not the first symbol in the list (chronologically)

Normally when the panel is loading it will still show the red/green backgrounds to the columns I have built (with indicators behind them) but now they do not appear at all, its just greyed out with "--" in all the boxes.
As I say it was all working ok last week.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction as to what to try next. I have rebooted a couple of times and I am only running NT and IQfeed on the PC (with Windows XP). There seems to be plenty of RAM as I'm only using 30-50% of a 1GB stick. The charts are limited to 5-10 days of data lookback and the market analyser to the last 30 bars. (by the way the exact same version but using Daily/Weekly/monthly charts works fine today)

    Thanks,
    John

I'll ask IQFeed support on what this native error message means.

I got feedback from a member of the IQFeed support team: He suggested that you contacted the support department to run through some basic troubleshooting steps and make sure you don’t have a rogue firewall causing problems or something like that.

Thanks for the reply Dierk. I checked out the firewall and no problems.I then looked under Data/Options and I had the "save chart data as historical" box ticked. When I un-ticked this the problem was solved.

I do have another end of day data issue which I will report in another post.

        Thanks for your help.
        John
