MA question NT7/B3

I'm just kind of getting starting working with NT7 . So why when I add a SMA to the chart , it is behind the candle sticks ? I don't see an option to place it
on top of price ? Looks like a number of the custom indicators I like will not import , like Ed's Renko . I gotta have that .

Well , I closed that chart and created a new one and now when I add a
moving average ,it's on top of price . Had a couple crashes working with multiple data series on the chart . Seems NT7 is still fragile in terms of what
will cause problems .......

Also wondering why you can't close the Last open group . Doesn't really make
sense .

If you are referring to the last open workspace...This is because NT requires a minimum of one workspace to be open.

Select the MA, hold down SHFT key and scroll mouse wheel. This changes the z-order of any selected object in relation to other objects in a panel.

It is beta and for sure the application can crash. This is why feedback is ever so important to help isolate and resolve issues. Can you reproduce the crashing? If yes, could you provide us steps to reproduce.

I'll try ,but so far no luck . I know I had a Renko chart open set to Bid for the
data , and it was the only open group when I closed NT . So the problem happened when I booted NT up fresh and it tried to load that group chart
automatically . Best I can remember at the moment .

I booted up NT again with the renko chart described above . I have no
data connection over the weekend ,but it loaded from what was stored before. For the heck of it ,I switched it to " Ask " and of course the chart came up blank because no data had been previously saved for the Ask . I
then switched it to Last which there should have been data saved , but
NT spiked to > 50% cpu usage and said it was loading data but it should have
only taken a few seconds to load 3 days , but it just froze there at 50% cpu
and stayed there even though I managed to close the chart . So something
caused NT to hang up switching to different data types .

Not sure I follow on that line of thought -

tried to reproduce your latest reported issue, but unfortunately I didn't see the freezing you mentioned - what connection are you normally using? Does the same freezing happen when you're using a live datafeed connection?

Have you noticed it on other chart types as well or only on the Renko ones?

to your previous post . It had to be more then 3 characters .That's all .

Software is funny that way .Different computers might react different .This was all originally from TT ,but I was off line when the problems happened.

I just installed Version 7 and I am trying to import Ed's Renko, as I had on NT 6.5. I get an error message saying that the "NT Archive file may contain duplicate method names that aready exist or there is a required file missing".
What do I have to do?
