Unfortunately I am not quite sure what you mean. You shouldn't be able to select grid lines. Please clarify. Thank you.

Sorry, what I meant was "plot horizontal grid lines" in Chart properties.

If you set the property to true you will see gray gridlines. If you set it to false you will not see them. Horizontal grid line spacing is determined by the panel. Please be sure you have it set to 0 for auto generation of grid lines by double clicking in the y-axis.
