    multi-pane chart crashes NT7

I haven't seen any mention of a similar circumstance resulting in crash.
    connected to zen-fire & barchart
    workspace contains
    1. ESZ9 time and sales window
    2. one 3 paned chart as follows:
3 second period based on 'last', line on close
pane 1: S&P 500 cash, instrument defined setting
    pane 2: ESZ9 future, default 24/7 setting
pane 3: NYSE TICK, instrument defined setting
    generic error message is produced.

I have had similar problems with multi pane charts as well. I haven't pinpointed a reason or a specific market as the failure seems to change. Sometimes I will get a "Ninja Trader needs to shut down" message, other times one pane might just disappear and yet a third symptom is the data in one pane just not loading.

About the only thing that is consistent is me selecting 24/7 in each data series area's as I'm usually comparing index futures.

I haven't submitted any error logs yet as I haven't been able to reproduce a single one of them. If the mods want more specific info I'm happy to try and narrow it down. Just shoot me a PM.

      billm,

If you could provide the trace logs that would be great. Thank you.

      Treggs,
Whenever you get a crash we would appreciate it if you either posted here on the forums with the trace files or sent them in to support [at] ninjatrader [dot] com. It is okay if you can't reproduce just yet, because maybe someone else has a similar situation that can be identified through the trace logs. Thank you.
