Chart xaxis scaling

I opened a chart with 2 data series - a Range 8 bars and 400 tick bars.
Not surprisingly the bar spacing is uneven since these cannot mesh in any even way.

Now delete the range 8 series and expect the remaining 400 tick chart to now be evenly spaced but it continues to be uneven.

Not very important but a surprise.

Hmm. I was unable to reproduce. Can you provide me with exact steps?

I did this.

1. New chart of 400 tick
2. Typed in "+8R"
3. Selected the 8 range series and pressed DEL
4. 400 tick chart went back to how it was before.

I have tried several times to reproduce my result with no sucess.
