    Chart data not saved to database. MBTrading

    I am using MB Trading as data provider.

    When NT7 is connected, A pop up message says "Error on loading chart data for 'BGU Default'. Ninja trader data server does not support this instrument. No data available."

    Instrument manager is set up with BGU exchanges: Default and Nasdaq.

    Nasdaq was chosen for lack of a better choice as NT wants a second source. MBTrading is my only source of data. I do not buy additional sources from them.

    Despite the error message, BGU minute data appears on a chart.

    In the course of a day, if the chart is closed and restarted, the prior intradata data is lost. It is not being saved in the database.

    In the options 'data' section, 'Save chart data as historical' is checked.

    I did not have these problems with NT6. All settings were migrated okay when NT7 was installed.

    Please go Tools->Account connection->Your MBT connection and set "Use MBT server" to get historical data from MBT.

      I do not see the above choice.

      I have:
      Tools> Account Connections > "Account Connection Setup" >MB Trading >Change
      the end result of the wizard yields:
      connection = MB TRADING
      provider = MBTrading
      BackUpDataFeed = MB TRADING
      Server type = Live
      Load Navigator Window on Connection = True
      Use SnapShot data = False

        Camdo, please try deleting your MBT account connection, repair your DB under Tools > Options > Data and then setup the MBT connection fully fresh. Do those options then reappear?

          I did as you asked but the "Account Connection Setup" wizard displays the same catagorys and choices.

          Summary of actions:
          disconnect
          removed account connection
          repair database
          close NT7
          restart NT7
          all charts closed
          Tools>account connections
          Add "Account connection setup"
          Connection name: MB TRADING
          Provider: MB Tading
          Backup data connection: None
          next
          User Name ...
          Password ....
          Server type: Live
          Load navigator window on connection: check
          Use snapshot data...: no check


          still have same problem. nothing changed

                Please be sure the MBT Navigator version you have installed is 11.3.0.4.


                Please also upgrade your NinjaTrader to 7.0.0.4. Thank you.

                  In the future, how do I know when NT7 is revised?
                  I did not receive any email messages about 7.0.0.4

                  Help> downloads in NT7 brings me to NT6 upgrades.
                  I had to go back to the origonal NT7 email link to get 7.0.0.4
