    NT7B4 Fibo Tools Defaults

In all of the Fibonacci tools the initial setup line is now only a dotted "control" like color and you cannot change the width or color of these set up lines. Nor can you set up an alternate dash style of these lines....whether you have the top "Active:" box checked or unchecked in the properties set-up widow.....and when you select a particular color for the top "Active:" box the set up line remains locked in the pale "control" like color and narrow width...no choice at all here now to format this set up line in any way.....see screen shots below...

If you have a white or light chart background you can barely see these tool set-up lines that one is currently locked into now. Why was this done this way in 7B4 ??

In NT6.5 these initial set up lines were allowed to be the same color as selected for the top "Active:" box even when the top box was left unchecked...and you could change the width of these lines there also.

In NT6.5 I use these setup lines (with all "Active:" box options unchecked in the properties window) in different colors and widths all the time as they are easily accessible by a hot key as very useful additional graphic chart tools.

You really need to be able to set different colors, line dash styles and line widths on the initial set-up line on all of these tools. The way you have it now is a big step backwards from NT6.5....and makes these set up lines just useless now as separate graphic tools. ....At minmum, these lines should function as they did in 6.5.

You really need another "Active:" format box at the top of the properties set up window for all of these tools that would cover just the set up line only....re color, style and weight....others have asked for this also...

    Thanks...

      Set-up Lines Too Faint

Fibo tool setup lines as locked in now are just too faint to be easily visable and useful on light backgrounds....screen shot below...one needs to be able to format the color, style and width of all Fibo tool set up lines in properties per my post below...

(and incidentally...along with being able to format the Andrews Pitchfork dash stye)

      Thanks...

I would also note that there should be a switch to turn them off completely. After you have a few tools on the chart the extra anchor lines get very distracting....

It would also be very useful to have a separate Text Position option. At the moment if Extend Right is ticked the text repositions to the right. Be better to select Text location independently.

          Thanks

Any feedback from Ninja in this area as discussed below ??

This is an area...Draw Tools...I feel strongly about...getting this area working well...

I know you probably have bigger fish to fry...but....??

            Thanks...

                Another Example

Here is another chart example in NT7B4...screen shot attached...where one cannot see the Fibo tools setup lines now when they cannot be formatted as to color, style and weight.

                Thanks...

                  Problems and Opportunities....

Here is a short video on the current status of the setup lines for some draw tools in NT7B4...showing some of the problems as they are done currently....and some of the opportunities if one could format these lines as desired...

                  Thanks....
