Loading freezes if MS Outlook open

Had this also with 6.5.
- MS Outlook open
- Load NT7
- Splash screen ok then control center window opens then freezes
- Close MS Outlook and NT7 continues to load.

Sorry, I would not know what causes this. We Ninja's all have Outlook on our machines and none of them would freeze.

I also have reported this twice via email.

Not sure what version of Outlook you are running?
I am running Outlook 2007, and the behavior is exactly as described.

I was first told it was because of Vista 64.

Second time I upgraded to Win7 64, and I was told NT7 was needed to support 64-bit.

NOTE: this is still happening using the latest NT7,

In addition:
- I can close Outlook 2007, then load NT7, let it open workspaces etc. -- all OK
- I then restart Outlook and NT7 works OK unless I try to open a new chart
- Windows task manager shows NT7 "not responding" and NT7 appears to be locked up
-- if I close Outlook while NT7 is locked up, once Outlook is gone, NT7 then starts working again.

Please try disabling any firewalls you may have. Are you using any special settings on your Outlook? Unfortunately as Dierk mentioned, we all use Outlook here with no occurrences and we would not have much knowledge on connections Outlook may or may not be making that is holding up NT.
