    IQFeed sometimes hangs on historical data

    When retrieving historical data using IQFeed, the process sometimes hangs. It can happen if the data is requested by a strategy, an indicator, or even a manual download from the historical data manager.

    The control center is still running (it says "Saving") in the lower right corner, so I can do File -> Exit from there, but the window that initiated the data retrieval won't respond except maybe to say there is a data retrieval in process.

    When NT says "Saving" it does exactly that. You needed to give it some time.

      It never finishes saving. I've tried leaving it in that state for 30 minutes without any progress. I have to exit and restart NT7.

        Would you have a reproducible scenario?

        Also: Please make sure you are on NT7B3.
