    NT7 - Won't restart after computer crash

Hi, I had NT7 opened and my computer simply crashed (not because of NT) but then after the reboot NT starts and start doing something very heavy (apparently) to the point of not responding at all....

I was wondering if it's doing a db consistency checking. Note: I have lots of historical emini data.

Is this normal behavior? If not, how do fix the issue? Is there any command line to prevent this check?

    Thanks in advance.

Consistency check could be what is happening. The splash screen should tell you what it is doing.

What happens if you ctrl+alt+del and end task when it freezes and try reopening again? Does it just keep freezing on you?

Josh, the freeze part happens after the splash...

After shutting it down a couple of times using C+A+D it came back... not sure what it was doing.. but thanks for replying.

Do you have charts with a lot of historical data loaded on them? It could have been trying to repopulate those charts. Glad it worked out though.

Josh, problem came back in a different form right now... started and crashed... trace file and screenshot attached.

Big X on the chart and error message...

(tried to attach trace file again)

            Missing attachment. Please reattach.

Please also provide as much background information as possible as to what was on the chart. Please provide what instrument, what data provider, what time frame, how many days lookback, multi-series chart, candle sticks?, OHLC?, etc. Thank you.
