Beta 3 - Data Series:

P&F, Kagi, Renko - I can't select anything but Tick for base period
HeikenAshi - Anything, but minute.
LineBreak - works ok

Thanks roonius, checking into Renko - but for example for the others I can select any BasePeriod and BasePeriodType.

Do you mean the option to select other types is not listed or you just can't select it / it reverts back to a default setting?

For Renko expected, since they are based on 1 tick base data and bricksizes will be multiples of the min. movement (1 tick).

It is listed, but keeps reverting

Does this happen for all symbols? Which connection / broker are you testing this on?

I am connected to zen-fire and yahoo.
It happens on any symbol I try.

I am using windows server 2008 (as workstation). But it used to work before.

Go to this folder:

\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\templates\ChartSeries

Temporarily remove any data contained here and restart NT --> Problem still exist?

After deleting templates, problem disappeared.
