For example, if I have TF loaded up with a point interval of 1 specified, it will draw a line at every 10 ticks. However, if I then switch to CL, it now draws a line at every full point increment, or 100 ticks! It should not work this way.... please change it to work with ticks and not points.

Please change horizontal scale options
When you double click on the right hand side of any chart, it brings up a dialog box which gives the user the ability to specify a fixed or automatic scale for horizontal lines. Unfortunately, the way that these interval are specified is in points, not ticks. I'm not sure why this change was made from 6.5, but you should have the option to specify horizontal lines at every N ticks instead of just every N points, since points are always relative to the currently loaded instrument.

However, if I then switch to CL, it now draws a line at every full point increment, or 100 ticks! It should not work this way.... please change it to work with ticks and not points.Tags: None

Thanks for the suggestion, but since in NT7 we introduced these gridlines to all panels, not just the price panel, the ticks unit does not necessarily make sense when working with indicator only panels. This then requires us to use points since it is the only common unit between both.Josh P.NinjaTrader Customer Service
