Genetic optimizer

The results I'm getting are better than with the previous beta but are nowhere near what I am getting with 6.5. There is no progress indicator. It would be useful if it showed what generation it had just completed and the associated "optimize on" value.

I've used genetic optimizers where the progress dialog provides a very small running graph of how the maximum value of the fitness function has changed during the optimization. This provides you some information about how far you've come, and whether the optimizer is improving things, or if the fitness result is flat even after several more generations. The user then has the ability to abort the optimization early or tune the number of generations they use based on how many are actually needed. Other genetic optimizers detect that the fitness is not improving much, and automatically re-seed the optimizer and re-start the optimization again (if any generations remain to be evolved), in case the optimizer is stuck in a local maximum. The NT 6.5 optimizer by Piersh also allows optimizing enumerated types and booleans, and ensures that there are never any duplicate DNAs sequences being re-tested.
