NT7 B3 Backup runs very slow

Hello,

just tried the to backup the NT7 Beta3 database (40 Mbytes in total) and it was really slow compared to NT6.5 (for a similar DB size). Is there any reason for this?

"database" option on backup not only backs up the .sdf file but any data stored in sub folders "minute", "day", "tick" as well.

I was comparing apples with apples. In the 6.5 version I was also backing up the minute data (no tick in my databse). But the difference is really significant (NT7 much much worse).

Could you please zip both your "db" subdirs of NT6.5 and NT7 and e.g. send them by Help->Mail to support, subject "for Dierk" and referencing this thread or upload them somewhere and provide the links? Thanks

Thinking: Are you sure it's really the "database" option? I suggest isolating which option on the backup dialog really slows it down for you on NT7. We then could take it from there.
