NT7 market data feed support defined per instrument

    Hello,

In NT 6.5 it is not possible to have two instruments of the same type (e.g. futures) fed with data from 2 different datafeeds. For example it is not possible to have the oil future data (CL) provided by zen-fire and the natural gas future data (NG) by Esignal.

In NT6.5 the order in which connections are established matters and if the first datafeed is tagged as supporting futures, NT will assume that all futures data will come from that first datafeed. This poses a problem when for example zen fire is used as the primary connection and you want to trade in a futures exchange not supported by zenfire (e.g. MEFF in spain). Even if you have this market contracted in the secondary datafeed connection (Esignal), NT will not receibe nor plot that data.

Has this limitation been solved in NT7?

Is it possible in NT7 to define per instrument a default primary datafeed?

If this is not possible, can you please take the suggestion for improvement?

This functionality would provide traders with a lot of flexibility to optimise data feed costs.

    regards,

    Hi oclop,

This limitation still exists in NT7.
