- Ability to set global defaults for indicator parameters.
- Ability to display symbol full description in title bar. IE: YM 12-09 "Dow Jones Industrials E-Mini $5"
- In the databox display Net Change for the period as well as OHLC
- Indicators SMA and EMA list as Moving Average (Simple), Moving Average (Exponential) on pick list as the current naming is unintuitive. (I'm looking under M for moving average.)
- Display the current active indicator set name on the title line of the "Indicators" dialog box. As well as access to the indicator set functions (load, save, etc.) rather than requiring a second menu item. Option / or prompt to automatically update the indicator set if it is changed. (I would allow each sub-chart to have its own indicators dialog box.)
- Where there are two or more charts displayed on a chart page allow the indicators to be copied from one timeframe / chart to another (rather than just be moved)[ie hold down ctl key, right menu copy/paste option, etc).
- Allow "Load Indicator Set" for the second chart (or additional charts displayed on the same page.)
- Right clicking in a sub chart should allow changing the timeframe for the sub-chart.
Right now the multi-chart paradigm on a single window is very confusing and unintuitive to configure. I would love to be able to select a sub-chart and use the on-screen tools to configure the timeframe, symbol, etc rather than having to drill down to a detailed parameter screen. I would like to be able to load my standard chart template items on each sub-chart I have active. (and set a default parameter set for each sub-chart as I often use them for different purposes.)
I would hope that NT would focus on developing the GUI for actions rather than relying on right-click menus and complex parameter screens. It is also not always obvious to me what areas of the window are objects and have configurable parameters. I would also love to be able to see as I move my mouse over the chart what item will be selected if I click (maybe it highlights) as it's hard to know for sure sometimes when you have a lot going on.
