2 Instrument/Single Chart Issue

I have S&P 500 and DJIA on a single 1 minute chart, DJIA updates in real time but I must reload historical data to get S&P to update. After reload price freezes and no new bar gets plotted for the S&P.

I've also noticed that choosing a dot plot for let's say a MA line will sometimes appear as a dot and then change to a dash then a dash dot....almost looks like the dots run into each other.

For ex: " ...._..__...._.._._._...."

Who are you connecting to? Will check into the dot issue.

Primary feed is Zenfire with eSignal secondary. I'll post a pic of the dot issue a bit later.

Ray here is the pic you requested, you can see how the dotted line looks..sometimes like a dash-dot, sometimes like a dotted line. It is set to plot just a dot.

Also, a more serious issue I found - I was playing around with different plots for a SMA and found this: I plotted a SMA using the format "Bar,Dot 2px" so it would look like a histogram and it locked up every window in NT so I wasn't able to change the settings back in the plot parameters ..had to close NT7 thru the Task Manager.

On the lock up, can you reproduce this? I tried and I can't reproduce, works as expected. Any tips on what you might have done would be helpful.

This is working for me. Please try this when you have a chance.

- Remove all windows from your workspace
- Close NT
- Restart NT
- Should have no windows open
- Connect to Zen
- Connect to eSignal
- File New > Chart
- Add ^SP500 1 Min --> Does real-time data come in ?
- If yes, right click in chart > Data Series....
- Add ^DJIA 1 Min --> Does real-time data for ^SP500 ?

#1 - If you open a chart with no indicators, then add the SMA with the Bar, Dot, 2px settings --> Will it lock up? I can't reproduce it.

#2 - Snap is expected since it snaps to any price value (indicator values are included in that)

Yes it does, just not in a chart.

On Monday in the Data Series window, set the Session Template to 24 x 7 for S&P and let me know if the data comes in.
