Regarding resizing of parrallel lines or channels and how they can easily and frustratingly get nonparrallel, I saw an excellent suggestion for fixing the problem on another website. If there could be a default button for FREEZING THE SLOPE of all lines drawn, that would solve the problem.

Ray,
Referring to an old previous post #6
Is there any way to achieve this "snap to OHLC" on the copied line(preserving the slope of the line) in NT7 Beta 17 version?
This would be a really nice and helpful feature for drawing parallel lines and attaching them to a bar's OHLC (without changing the slope).
Just an an idea,.. may be like add a property called "slope" to the lines,....so that slope can be adjusted to make sure it 100% parallel. Or some other way to ensure copied line gets attached to a bar's OHLC without changing the slope.
Thanks

If you can enable the "Snap to OHLC" for the starting point of the copied line, it would work. please enable "snap to ohlc" only for starting point of copied line and not for the 2nd point in the copied line.

Josh,
The line is copied with the same slope, but trying to see anyway to attach the copied line to the bar's OHLC. When I tried to paste the slanted copied line, the slope is preserved but it is not getting attached to bar's exact OHLC. Would be nice if "Snap to OHLC" feature is enabled for copied lines also,..so that copied lines can be attached to exact bar low or high.

I am not exactly sure what you mean. When you copy a line already in "Snap to Price" mode, the line is copied already with the same slope.

Hello mmtrader,
Am I correct you refer to the following. When Snap Mode is set to Bar and Price and you draw a new line, the first anchor point will automatically be tied to an OHLC value. However when you copy this line, it will not be tied to an OHLC value of a bar.
You like the copied line to automatically be tied to an OHLC value as well instead of the line being copied a centimeter below the original line.

Jason, when a slanted line is copied and then pasted, the pasted line has the same slope, which is good. But when I drag the pasted line, I am trying to move the pasted line to a new place, like another bar and then snap it to the other bar's exact low(for example). This snap to other bar's OHLC is the problem.
Please try and see if anyway you can try to drag the pasted parallel line to another bars exact low for example. I tried, but am unable to do that. Would be really helpful if ninja team can enable this feature.
Thanks

Ray/Support,
Has the ninja team reviewed this request, would be really helpful if the "Snap to OHLC" is enabled for pasted parallel lines/rays in one of the upcoming beta releases.
Also, is there any broad time line you targeting for NT-7 production release, will it be in Q3? I understand it depends on ironing out the bugs in beta version, but is it possible NT7 B18 or Beta-19 to be the production release?
