Strange Drawing Object Behavior/moving on refresh

    445 tick TF chart

I drew an Arrow as shown in screen shot "n7_initail_placement" attached.
Then I selected the chart background to remove focus from the draw object

The arrow slowly moved as the chart refreshed over the next 7 to 10 seconds the movement was VERY pronounced.

Over the next 2 or 3 minutes you see the movement of the object from its initial placement.

This is not happening in 6.5.

By the time the bar closed the top of my Arrow had moved significantly to the left! I place markers on my chart for a purpose and do not think that they
should move like this as price develops ...odd and disconcerting

Happens when I draw trend lines as well ... I do not like this at all. It completely moves my trend line. This is pretty important that these objects stay placed properly.

See screen shots. I drew circles at points of interest that clarify the issue.

Manually drawn objects? Script drawn? Can you bring up your Chart Properties and check what your Equidistant settings are?

Chart object is an area that went through some overhaul. We will research this further, thanks for reporting.

Going to need a little more help since I can't reproduce.

            - You can reproduce this consistently each and every time?
            - What "Snap Mode" are you using --> Found right click Drawing Tools > Snap Mode
            - Is the objects Global draw objects?
            - Assuming you can reproduce, after you draw an object, can you bring up the objects properties, click on the Data Tab, take a snap shot of the values
            - Once the object has moved, check these values again --> Are they now different?

Thanks for your help on this.

Disregard last series of questions, I can reproduce if I drop the second anchor of an object in the future. Time > CurrentBar time.

              Thx.

Yes. You got it. It only does it when the 2nd anchor is > current bar
