Instrument lists

Had an issue adding instruments to a new instrument list. Ninja could not duplicate but I could repeat on my end. Tried to add CL and NG. Clicked "OK" and got an error. Seems to like the ES though.

Ninja recommended rebooting so I did that but had no effect.

Please walk us through the exact steps one more time.

1. Open Instrument Manager
2. Create new list... etc.

I reset the instruments and that fixed it. I think it was a converted issue not a conversion issue. I added NG as Globex as it didn't and still does not have an exchange default and should have been nymex, even though I fixed it I had issues on 6.5

May not be but smells like it.

Did you do a migration from 6.5? On my NT7 it does indeed have Globex set by default.

not after i reset the instruments it didn't

I meant beforehand. Trying to figure out what could have caused this. If you had not mapped it in 6.5, those incorrect exchange mappings would have been carried over in a migration. Resetting the instruments would have put it back to NT7 defaults and that could be why it worked because you now have the exchange selected.
