If NT crashes after importing symbol list, list is not saved

If you use the import symbol list to add symbols to a list, and NT crashes, the new symbols are saved, but the association to the list is not. If you go into instrument manager and modify the list, the list does survive a crash. I think there is a missing commit for the list mapping. You can reproduce this by doing the following:

1. Utilities -> Import Stock Symbol list
2. Create list 'Test 1', add made up stock ZZZZ
3. Open Strategy Analyzer -- verify ZZZZ is in Test 1
4. Kill NT process
5. Reopen NT, Strategy Analyzer -- Test 1 is empty

If you repeat this, but after step 3, go into IM and add another stock to Test 1, then kill the process, the contents of the list survive.

This has been happening for a while but I've just gotten around to posting it now. It still happens on beta 10.

NT should not crash in the first place. Please let us know how to reproduce the crash (apart from killing manually). Thanks

Dierk, I'll do something like add 200 symbols to a list, and run a 12 month backtest on the whole list overnight just to download all of the data from IQFeed. Occasionally NT will run out of memory during this process which will cause some other exception. As long as the list isn't lost, this isn't that big of a deal.

Edit: and the out of memory condition is very likely the fault of my code, BTW.
