Just wanted to thank you guys for your continued efforts to enhance this great product even further, and especially recently, for the IB historical data optimization in ver 6.5.0.9.


I have just tested this feature and it works so well! As does the new workspaces feature!

Your response to users requests, and quick and ongoing development cycle is exemplary!

I am looking forward to testing out the new TDAmeritrade adapter.

I'll second him here.. the beta 9 is great. historic data download, most of my suggestions taken to heart. i love it!

[now we need 'memory' of the strategy dialogues, ability to load strategy templates, and system based command line strategy template loading (ie start ninjatrader like '.../ninjatrader.exe -s c:\strategylist -runstrategies', and of course keyboard shortcuts to add shortcuts [for easier macro programming]). All on the road to be perfect trading software. ..Oh and multiprocessor optimization and maybe even a monte carlo optimizer of course !!!

Oh let me add one thing..

.. can you make the ninjatrader use psychic energy to beam the right sort of intelligence directly into my brain to conceive of better and more profitable system trading ideas?

Port forwarding rules to run TDAmeritrade Adapter/NT on Second PC

Agree with Mike (scriabinop23) that the ability to store a strategies initial dialogue settings on startup would be great. Its too easy to inadvertently misconfigure.

Have now begun testing the new TDAmeritrade adapter. I had no problems with set up and configuration, and was able to browse the Ameritrade web site with the NT connection active. I could easily load data into charts.

Will test order execution etc next week.

My existing multibroker license did not automatically allow access to the new adapter, and I had to use the beta trial registration code. Accordingly I will probably need to trial the adapter in Sim mode on a second computer on my LAN.

Are there any special router port forwarding requirements to run NT concurrently on a second PC over a shared LAN with the TDAmeritrade Adapter ?

I expect I will find out soon enough !

No, you just can run NT using the new TDA beta license on your 2nd machine.

I agree with the above posters. Just ordered a multi-broker lifetime license, which is by far the most money I have ever spent on software!
