How to delete default workspace?

How can I delete or reset the default workspace? It is causing me problems...

whenever I load v.8 it will load default workspace... windows will come up like normal. Then once they are fully loaded, they disappear (hide somewhere but and invisible on taskbar).

I do not know how to make them visible? is there a way?

this is not the first time this has happened. It has happened before with another workspace... and I deleted all the windows before or something to resolve that (for a while).

so now I have loaded a "blank" looking workspace but really windows are there, just invisible.

Then if I load my saved workspace "abc" it will duplicate all charts, doms, windows. This is because I had chosen to save "abc" and also said yes to saving "default" when closing.

So loading abc makes my default windows appear... but also all of abc's windows and I now have twice the windows I need.

it would be easy to solve the problem if I could just close the default workspace (because it wasn't working properly)... but it is not allowed to be closed.

It is not possible to delete the default workspace. You can toggle between open workspaces via SHFT+F3 or via the menu File > Workspaces > where a list of open workspaces is displayed. The currently displayed one will have a check mark next to it. Just select the workspace you wish to display.

ok I figured a workaround...

if I create a new workspace... nothing happens... still no windows. But if I close this new workspace then all my hidden default windows will reappear.
