6.5.0.5 crash...can not restart

    6.5.0.5 crash...can not restart

    I was running 4 charts and wanted to close the current workspace before shutting down NT.

    NT said I can not close Default workspace. Default workspace should not have been running. I only have one workspace call "YM".

    So I tried to open YM workspace and NT crashed...i.e.shutdown/closed.

    I tried to open NT. It shows flash page and says "Loading workspace YM" and then says it must shut down. Did this 5 times. Reinstalling now...after I uninstall 5 beta.

    of course, re-install had same error

    so...I went to Workspaces folder and deteted all workspaces.

    Started up fine after that.

    Seems to be a problem in 6.5 re workspaces/charts getting corrupted...reminds me a bit of eSignal in that regard...i.e. only solution is to throw out the workspace/chart

      Do you on the off chance still have a copy of that workspace? We would love to take a look at it.

        Same problem here

        I also could not get NT 6.5 to start up this evening. I did as the prev poster and deleted my saved workspace and was able to start up w/out trouble.

            Sorry. I have deleted several corrupted charts and workspaces including the last one. Will save the next one if I get one

              Crash Durring trade..

              I was trying the new version connected to gain. It crashed upon entering a trade and will not come back up. Luckily the 6.0 version came up and I closed the trade. What type of info do you need to look at the crash info?

                Can you check if you are running 6.5.0.6 ? Help > About. If not, please ugprade to this version and let us know if the problem pops up again.
